My name is Bas Swelheim. All-round film creative with a strong passion for animation and storytelling. I’ve built a diverse career since high school, gaining experience in motion graphic design, cinematography and post-production. I work with agencies and brands across various media, creating tailor-made content ranging from animations and social-videos to commercials and B2B video’s. As social media is dominating the media landscape nowadays, I’m always trying to keep up with the latest trends in social-marketing and content strategy. The world of generative A.I. is also opening up a lot of new possibilities, which I fully embrace.

Besides having a lot of technical experience creating content, I love copywriting and storytelling as well. Creative writing is key to engaging content, in my opinion, so I’m always trying to come up with new ideas to tell a story. Being freelance for almost 20 years also taught me to manage time, budget and expectations on multiple projects simultaneously. These skills combined enable me to manage end-to-end project workflows from concept development to final production, ensuring client satisfaction while creating impactful visual stories.
